Studio Bookings

Every booking includes a dedicated engineer, full technical setup before you arrive, and the studio for your booked time. Hot and cold drinks are available throughout.

Live streaming is included at no extra cost, to remote attendees or to your own channel such as YouTube or LinkedIn. You set up the stream on your side and send us the link or stream key before the session.

Files are shared via our Google Drive after the session and held for one month. Post-production and crew beyond the standard setup are quoted separately.

When planning your booking, allow time for arrival, final camera positioning and focus once everyone is seated, breaks and pack-down. An 8-hour session typically suits four to five 60-minute recordings.

Once you've requested a slot we confirm within 24 hours and issue an invoice. Full payment is required to confirm your booking, which reserves the space, kit and engineer exclusively for you on the day.

Invoices include bank transfer details. If you'd prefer to pay by card or from outside the UK, just let us know and we'll send the right details. Purchase orders and project references can be added to the invoice. Retainer and agency clients are invoiced on agreed terms.

We always prefer to reschedule, so get in touch as early as you can if something comes up.

• More than 10 calendar days before your session: refunded in full, or moved to a new date at no cost.
• Between 10 days and 48 hours before: 50% is charged and the remaining 50% is credited to a future booking.
• Within 48 hours: the full fee is charged.

Pencilled dates are held free of charge. Inside 10 days we'll ask you to confirm on these terms or release the date. Where a session is confirmed within 10 days of the date, these terms apply in full from confirmation, whether or not payment has been made.

For clients booking the studio regularly, we offer retainer arrangements designed to support a consistent production schedule at a preferred rate.

Retainers suit anyone recording regularly, whether that's a monthly episode or several days a week; what matters is the ongoing commitment, not the number of hours.

In return you receive a discount against the standard rates, priority scheduling and the same engineer across bookings for continuity. If this sounds useful, get in touch and we'll put a proposal together.

Standard rates cover Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. Sessions before 8am or after 6pm carry an early start or evening rate, and weekends and UK public holidays a weekend rate, each 20% on the hours affected. The quote tool applies this automatically.

Your booking covers the times agreed, including arrivals and pack-down. If you need to run over, that's usually fine, and it's charged in 30-minute increments at the hourly rate for your service tier. For example, a 3-camera video session running 30 minutes over would be charged an extra £80 plus VAT. Your engineer will check with you during the session if an overrun looks likely, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
