Sounds like a conversation worth having.
Podcasting started as long-form audio, long before video ever entered the picture. That's how we first fell in love with the format, and it's why audio-only shows still get the same care from us as anything with a camera in the room.
From a single-mic interview to a fully scripted series with multiple guests, we handle the whole process in our Hackney Road studio: recording, editing and a mix that sounds broadcast-ready on a pair of AirPods or a car stereo.
We've recorded and produced hundreds of audio-only podcasts for brands including Armani, publications including The New York Times, and platforms including BBC Sounds. Plenty of that work has happened in our own studio, but just as much has taken place on location, in homes, hotels and offices, wherever the conversation needs to happen. We've also built up deep experience setting up high-quality tape syncs, handling sensitive or high-stakes conversations with care, and working with talent ranging from Hollywood actors to heads of state.

A voice you'll want to spend hours with.
An audiobook lives or dies on performance and consistency. A narrator has to hold a listener's attention for hours at a stretch, and every chapter needs to sound like it was recorded in the same room, on the same day, in the same voice. That's a different discipline to a thirty-second voiceover, and it's one we've built real experience in.
We've recorded audiobooks for publishers including Penguin and Podium, and delivered end-to-end production for independent authors Dave Morrissey and Alicia Dunam. Paloma Faith also recorded her bestseller, MILF, at a Bison studio.
Long-form recording asks a lot of a narrator, so we keep the studio calm and unhurried: comfortable, well lit, and free of the pressure that can creep into a tightly booked session. A relaxed voice reads better, chapter after chapter.

Voices that carry your story.
A great voiceover does more than narrate. It sets the tone before a single visual lands, and it's often the difference between a video that gets watched and one that gets skipped.
Bring your voiceover talent to our Hackney Road studio and we'll take care of the rest. Our engineers record to a broadcast-ready standard, then edit and clean up the audio so every read sits perfectly against your picture.

Built to be felt, not just heard.
Sound design is where a video stops feeling like footage and starts feeling like something. It's the texture underneath a cut, the weight behind a transition, the quiet tension before a line lands. We approach it the way we'd approach a score: with restraint, with intention, and with an ear for what the picture actually needs.
With credits including sound design for BBC Sounds, Xbox, Glenlivet and Tag Heuer, we're as comfortable building an atmospheric, cinematic soundscape as we are sourcing and clearing library music for a fast-moving campaign.

The last 10% that makes the other 90% land.
Audio post-production is easy to underestimate and impossible to fake. Muddy dialogue, inconsistent levels and a mix that falls apart on a phone speaker will undo weeks of good work upstream. Ours won't.
Every project that comes through Bison, whether it's a podcast episode, a branded film or a full commercial campaign, gets the same level of care in the mix: dialogue cleaned and levelled, music and effects balanced against the voice, and a final master checked across formats so it sounds right wherever it's played.
Dialogue editing and noise reduction
Mixing and mastering for broadcast, social and podcast platforms
Mixes delivered to the loudness standards each platform needs (broadcast, streaming, social)
Full audio post-production for podcast series, episode after episode
We handle this in-house, at our own studio, which means tighter turnarounds and a single point of contact from record to final delivery.
